Grounded, Insightful Consultation to Build Confidence and Clinical Skill

Consultation with Danielle DiCamillo, LCSW & ERYT

You're gaining experience, seeing clients, and doing your best, but the self-doubt still creeps in. Am I doing this right?

Clinical work brings up real challenges: countertransference, ethical gray areas, moments of overwhelm, and the quiet fear that you're missing something. Confidence isn't about having all the answers, it's about learning to trust your clinical judgment, even in the uncertainty.

You're allowed to not know, and still be a good clinician.

Together, we'll deepen your clinical skills, explore your growing edges, and build the confidence to trust yourself as a clinician, so you can become the therapist you're truly meant to be.

Supportive, Collaborative Consultation to Build Confidence and Growth

Consultation with me is relational, built on trust, mutual respect, and the belief that you don't have to have it all figured out.

My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely safe to slow down, ask the questions you've been sitting with alone, and get curious about what feels stuck, without worrying it makes you look less competent.

Together, we'll explore new modalities, like somatic work, and bring them into your clinical practice with more ease and confidence.

You'll leave our sessions with more than answers,  you'll leave trusting your own clinical judgment a little more.

For the Clinician With Good Instincts and a Loud Inner Critic

I work with LCSWs, LMHCs, and other mental health professionals in private practice who want to build a strong clinical foundation through an integrative approach.

Many of the therapists I consult with are drawn to relational, trauma-informed, somatic, or psychodynamic work, and are more skilled than they give themselves credit for.

If you're in solo practice, without a team down the hall to reality-check a hard session or talk through a clinical hunch, you know how isolating that can be.

If you value reflection, authenticity, and curiosity, and you're looking for a space to think out loud, sharpen your clinical judgment, and quiet the voice that says you're not doing it right; we'd probably work well together.

Grounded In Years of Clinical and Somatic Practice

Hi, I'm Danielle. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual psychotherapy across New York and Connecticut, working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness, parental overwhelm, women's health concerns, and major life transitions.

I'm also an experienced Registered Yoga Teacher of 18 years, and I've conducted workshops specifically at the intersection of yoga and mental health.

My training reflects that same integration: I'm an Attachment-Focused EMDR therapist (Levels 1–3) through the Parnell Institute, certified in Embodied Trauma Conscious Reproductive Health, and trained through the Trauma Conscious Yoga Method.

Before moving into my own solo practice, I served as a clinical supervisor at a group practice; experience that taught me how to hold both structure and flexibility in supervision, depending on what a clinician actually needs.

For the last two decades, I've been immersed in both clinical psychology and somatic practice, and that dual lens shapes everything about how I work and how I consult.

I started offering consultation because I remember what it felt like to be the clinician with good instincts and no one to check them against or sitting with a hunch about a client's nervous system, a body-based cue, a moment that felt clinically significant but hard to name.

Having supervised within a team and now practiced solo myself, I understand both what structured support can offer and what it feels like to lose it.

I wanted to be the person I needed then: someone who could hold both the clinical rigor and the somatic attunement, and help you trust what you're already sensing in the room.

What We Can Focus on Together

● Building clinical confidence and trusting your own judgment in session

● Integrating somatic and body-based approaches into your existing clinical work

● Case consultation on complex or "stuck" clients, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and chronic illness

● Working with the mind-body connection,  including nervous system-informed and embodied approaches

● Exploring relational, attunement, psychodynamic, and attachment-focused frameworks in your practice

I Bring Warmth, Structure, and Somatic Attunement to Consultation

● A relational, collaborative approach

● Somatic and nervous-system-informed lens, Trauma-informed training, including Attachment-Focused EMDR (Levels 1–3)

● Experience supervising within a group practice, balanced with the flexibility of solo practice life

● A steady, non-judgmental presence for the questions you might hesitate to ask elsewhere

● Genuine curiosity about your clinical instincts, not just correction of your blind spots

What I bring to consultation isn't just clinical knowledge — it's a way of being with you while you build it.

Having supervised a structured group practice and later built my own solo practice, I know how to offer both grounding and flexibility, depending on what a session calls for.

My somatic training means I'm as attuned to what's happening in your body while we talk as I am to the clinical content itself — because how you're holding a case often shows up there first.

Above all, I bring genuine curiosity to our work together. I'm not here to hand you answers; I'm here to help you trust the ones you're already circling.
