Experience the Healing Power of Yoga Therapy

Connecting Your Body and Mind to Heal Trauma, Anxiety, and Stress
You've been advocating for your mental health—researching therapists, attending therapy, doing everything possible to gain peace of mind. Yet something is missing.
You know the body and mind aren't separate entities but intrinsically linked. There's one burning question: How do you sync mind and body to gain true relief from mental health obstacles?
The answer? Yoga Therapy.
As a licensed psychotherapist and certified Yoga instructor, I create a one-of-a-kind healing experience. Together, we'll uproot and identify areas where you need to heal while learning to be grounded and present in your body.
What Is Yoga Therapy?
Yoga Therapy uses gentle asanas (physical postures), mindfulness, meditation, and pranayama (breathing techniques) to relieve mental health symptoms. This combination resets the nervous system and achieves presence of mind.
Though some consider yoga "new age," it's one of the world's oldest healing practices, dating back to the pre-Vedic period. The Indian Sage Patanjali discovered how yoga fuses mental and physical states into complete calm.
The key difference: Yoga therapists must have specific training and licensing. I'm both a licensed psychotherapist in New York & Connecticut and a certified Yoga teacher with 17 years of experience—providing the knowledge to bring you the peace you desire.

The Difference in My Approach
Through my clinical background and love of movement, I deeply understand the power of syncing body and mind. When one is misaligned, the other becomes imbalanced—a philosophy understood in Eastern medicine and recently acknowledged in Western medicine.
As a licensed therapist, I know clients may need more than talk therapy to heal trauma. I introduce bottom-up methods like yoga and somatic practices that engage what's happening within the body.
Over years of practice, I've witnessed yoga therapy's immense healing power. By studying both cultural traditions and mental-physical healing aspects, I bridge the connection to healing for my clients, sharing this wisdom in all sessions.
Together, we uncover samskaras (imprints, patterns, and tensions) within ourselves that can be unlocked through asanas and meditation.
